On my way from a friend's house I recieved a called from Alzor Che informing me the sudden death of Filly Conteh alias Sally Filly a resident of Basse jus before the second mosque. Sally filly a renowned man for his hospitality, Godliness past away this night at his compound. Though gone but we will ever remember you for that melodious voice of yours that calls us for prayer during every prayer time at Basse second mosque.... Conteh is a father, husband, uncle, inlay to others residing withing and outside the country.

May Allah forgive him and grant him passage to paradise. Ameen.

On behalf of the executive team of Friends of Basse Inc., I am pleased to inform you that the Ramadan project was successfully implemented as agreed. That is Provide If tar (Huntari) every Friday at the two Basse Mosques. And, extend provision for LAILATUL QADR to the two Basse Mosques and those of the satellite villages.




We are working on the detail report. We will publish it on the association’s website (www.mybasse.org) as promised in the next coming days. An e-mail communication will be sent out notifying you of its publication.
