Welcome and opening prayers:
The meeting was opened with a prayer by Mutarr Jallow while Mr. MB Krubally chaired it.
Library Project Update:
It was agreed by the participants to distribute the computers and books designated for the library project to the schools in the Basse area. This decision was reached because members feel it was important to put these items in to good use now rather than let them get obsolete in storage.
 
Fundraising Project:
Mr. MB Krubally updated the members on the status of the fundraising project with Jaliba Kuyateh. He said that the tentative amount stands at about D20, 000. However, he added that it is possible that the final amount will be lower. He said that the executive team on the ground will meet and set the date for the program. The association will have to put down an agreed amount to book/reserve a date for the event.
It was agreed that the team on the ground has to invite other organizations and businesses as VIPs in order to make the event financially successful. Therefore, organization and planning should start as early as possible.
 
Open Discussion/Round Table:
Mr. MB Krubally brought up the idea of repeating the FoB reunion again in 2015 in Washington, DC.  The idea was unanimously welcomed. He suggested that Mr. Joof help lead the effort with the help of his colleagues in the area. Mr. Joof agrees and promises to discuss with his colleagues. He will report back to the executive team with suggestions and date for the event. The event will take place on a weekend as last time.
Next Executive and General Meeting:
The next general meetings will be scheduled in a month. A communication will be sent out as soon as the date finalized.
The meeting lasted for one hour and was closed with a prayer by Amadou Basiru Jallow
